French figural mantle clock having a shaped black slate case and bronze accents with a patinated bronze figure of King Charlemagne on top. Interior of glass frame on back of clock engraved "Charlemagne and 47". Clock face unmarked. French works appear to be in working order. 19 3/4" H x 11" W x 5 3/4" D. 19th century. Condition: Chip to front right corner of base.
