Framed German oval hand painted porcelain plaque depicting Christ crowned in thorns. Signed "R. Gunthe", middle right. Marked en verso with impressed maker's mark "KPM" and "X04". Hosed in a simple wood frame with incised lines. Plaque sight: 8 1/2" H x 6 1/4". Framed: 10 3/4" H x 8 1/2" W. Late 19th/Early 20th Century. Provenance: The collection of Dr. Andrew Wilkerson.

CONDITION: Plaque in overall very good condition with a few minor scratches. Frame with light wear.
