Dated February 22, 1840. 15 1/2" H x 12" W. Provenance: Private Sevierville, TN collection, purchased from the July 30, 2016 Case Auction of the Estate of Sarah Hunter Hicks Green, a descendant of John Davis. CONDITION: Small tear at left lower corner, overall toning, some foxing underneath Polk's autograph.
