German Meissen porcelain tureen and cover, oval form with hand painted floral sprays on a textured white molded ground, the lid with figure of a young boy finial seated and holding berries, with scrolled naturalistic handles. Base with blue crossed swords mark used 1815-1924. 9 1/8" H x 12" W x 9 1/4" D. Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Mark Anthony Grant Estate, Clarksville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with scattered wear to glaze along rim and base; minute chips to rim, largest measuring 3/8" x 1/4".
