Five (5) sterling and silverplated items, including Victorian novelties. 1st item: Sterling silver round center bowl with molded rim and gadroon body. Monogrammed EWP at base. Maker's mark (unidentified) Sterling, 8055/240, 10 IN underneath. 3" x 9 7/8" dia. 12.885 oz troy. 2nd item: Single sterling bread and butter plate, 6" dia. 3.11 oz troy. 1 1/4" L shallow dent to rim. 3rd item: Sterling silver belt or shoe buckle, rocaille design with center cartouche engraved "May". Marked C.B. & H. Sterling on back. 1 1/2" x 2 1/8", 0.325 oz troy. (16.32 total oz troy sterling items). 4th item: James W. Tufts, Boston, quadruple plated figural napkin ring, figures of young girl and dog and large scalloped napkin ring in center, engraved "Lillie Durando". Maker's mark and 159C on base. 3 3/4" H. 5th item: Silverplated candle snuffing scissors with shell and gadroon decoration. Pseudo hallmarks on plunger. 6 3/4" L. 6th item: Rogers Brothers silverplated bread and butter plate, shown in photos, details not described. CONDITION: 1st item: Scattered surface scratches. 2nd item: 1 1/4" L shallow dent to rim. 3rd item: Very good condition. 4th item: Figures in good condition. General loss of silvering. 5th item: Overall good condition. Wear to scissor tip.
