Gunnar Andersen (Illinois or Wisconsin, d. 1950) Arts & Crafts hand made silver flatware, Karen pattern (later produced by ONC), consisting of 16 teaspoons (5 7/8" L), 10 soup spoons (6 1/2" L), 10 salad forks (6 1/2" L), 12 dinner forks (7 3/4" L), 12 butter spreaders (5 1/2" L), 10 dinner knives (9 3/8" L), meat carving fork and knife (10 1/2" and 12 7/8" L), 1 pie/cake server ( 7/8" L) and 2 serving spoons (9 and 9 1/2" L). 75 total pieces. Circa 1945. 72.57 total weighable troy ounces. Note: Andersen designed the Karen pattern which was adopted by Old Newbury Crafters. Andersen died c.1950 and lived in the Chicago area.
