94 pieces of Towle Sterling Silver Flatware in the Mary Chilton pattern, including 12 Old French hollow knives (9" L); 12 luncheon forks (7 1/4" L); 11 individual salad forks (6 1/4" L); 18 teaspoons (6 1/8" L); 6 oval bowl soup spoons; 6 round bowl soup spoons; 6 ice cream forks; 6 serving spoons; 9 flat handle butter spreaders; 1 flat handle master butter spreader; 1 individual solid fish fork; 1 ice cream spoon; 1 solid gravy ladle; 1 solid piece cream ladle with gilt wash; 1 solid jelly server; 1 cheese knife; and 1 pair of ice tongs. Housed in the original blue velvet-lined fitted box measuring 7 3/4" H x 21" W x 13" D. 88.13 total weighable troy ounces. Note: This set was purchased by the consignor's grandparents at Wanamaker's Jewelers and Silversmiths in Philadelphia, PA in 1920.
