1st & 2nd items: Pair of German Meissen polychrome figural candlesticks, including one (1) depicting a seated woman holding a small male child and one (1) depicting a seated man holding a young female child, on shaped bases. Both with blue Meissen underglaze marks to base along with incised and stamped numbers and letter. 12 3/4" H x approx. 6" W. Late 19th century/Early 20th century. 3rd & 4th items: Pair of Old Paris porcelain potpourri vases or jars with covers, both with removable pierced tops, bases with shaped rims, mask handles, paw feet and a rococo style shell base, polychrome and parcel gilt decoration throughout. 8 1/4" H. 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of David Caldwell, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: 1st & 2nd items: Both in overall good condition. Bases to both with a couple of small flakes and chips. Old glue repair to bobeche of male candlestick. 3rd & 4th items: Both with minor wear and losses to gilt, one with a firing crack to rim.
