Art Nouveau style E. S. Germany PROV S. X. E. porcelain portrait vase with vignette of seated dark haired woman in period attire. Pink lustre neck, floral rim and Nouveau base branches with applied gilt and enamel decoration to body.Marked "PROV. SXE E.S. Germany" on base. Condition – Two old chips to base covered with old paint and with some wear to gilt and losses to enamel decoration. 14 1/4" H. Early 20th century. Provenance: Knoxville, TN estate.
