Pair of Chinese Kangxi style porcelain vases mounted as lamps. Each vase decorated with scenes of Chinese courtiers in blue on white ground with gold detailing, enclosed in a decorative border. Both lamps secured to angular wooden bases painted black. Vases and bases drilled to wire for electricity. 19" H x 5 1/2" W x 5 1/2" D. Overall – 26 1/4" H. 20th century. CONDITION: Working condition. Both pagoda lids have been broken and reglued. Scattered chips on most edges of each vase ranging in size from 1/8" to 7/8" long. Raised bump on porcelain of same lamp. Black paint chipped on bases.
