Matthew Boulton chamberstick, two (2) candlesticks, and a bronze greyhound dog figure after Pierre Jules Mene (4 items total). 1st item: Old Sheffield Plate silver on copper chamberstick with double sun mark on base attributed to Matthew Boulton; circular form with removable bobeche, gadroon and shell decorated edges; shell thumbpiece; removable conical snuffer. Engraved griffin head crest to center edge of pan. 4" H x 7 1/4" W x 6" dia. English, early 19th century. 2nd and 3rd items: Two (2) Old Sheffield Plate telescoping candle sticks, silver on copper, lobed form, each with cast foliate decorative edges. Lacking bobeches. 10" H fully extended. English, early 19th century. 4th item: After Pierre Jules (PJ) Mene (France, 1810-1879), bronze sculpture depicting a greyhound with a raised left front leg standing on a naturalistic oval base and mounted onto a stepped black marble base. Signed on the base of the sculpture "P. J. Mene". 8 1/2" H x 11 1/2" L x 5 3/4" W. Likely 20th century. CONDITION: Silver items with moderate wear, showing pink at edges. Chamberstick also has some scratching to pan; sticks lack bobeches and sometimes slip down when extended. 4th item: Bronze with light wear, primarily to head and neck.
