1st & 2nd items: Pair of French Edme Samson enameled porcelain Armorial covered jars in an 18th century Chinese Export Armorial style, with polychrome and parcel-gilt coat-of-arms decoration to one side, polychromed floral decoration to the other, and white enameled decoration throughout. Red Edme Samson Asian style mark to the underside of each. 13 1/2" H. Late 19th century. 3rd & 4th items: Pair of 19th century Chinese Export Famille Rose porcelain bowls, the centers with foliate decoration and the rims with wave decoration. 1 1/2" H x 9" dia.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of David Caldwell, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: 1st & 2nd items: Both jars in overall very good condition with not chips or cracks, some general wear and losses to white enameled decoration. One jar with firing flaws to one handle. 3rd & 4th items: One bowl with chip to rim, otherwise both overall good condition.
