Three (3) Sulton Rogers (Mississippi, 1922-2003) painted wood folk art carvings including a man in a black suit, a woman in a grey dress, and a man in a blue suit with an elephant head. All carvings unsigned. Carving range in size from 15 5/8" H x 5" W x 2 3/4" D to 22 1/4" H x 4 3/4" W x 8" D. All items American, late 20th century. CONDITION: Traces of wax, bottom of feet, male carvings. Minute scuffs and paint flakes, 2" natural age crack to wood, surface of female carving.
