A Victorian cast-iron garden bench in the twig and serpent pattern, possibly by James Beebe. The sides are cast with coiled snakes or serpents and the back cast with foliate branches. Painted with several layers of paint, including black and green. Dimensions: 31 3/4" H x 49 1/2" W x 20" D. Late 19th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville estate.
CONDITION: Wear and weathering commensurate with age and outdoor use including several areas of exposed metal with rust to surface and layers of chipped paint.
