Continental inlaid writing table or desk with two drawers, probably walnut, the top inlaid with lighter woods in a band of bell-flowers along perimeter and with parquetry scroll design at the four corners and center. Four turned legs. 30-1/2" H x 49" W x 33" D. 19th century. Blount County, TN collection. Condition: Large split across top with 3" gouge. Minor losses to inlay. Feet may have been reduced in height.
