An American Late Federal / Early Classical card table, mahogany and mahogany veneers over pine secondary woods. Rectangular hinged and rotating top with rounded corners over a matching skirted plane, supported on a turned pedestal on a rectangular block base with four lyre style legs each with brass square box casters. 29" H x 36" W x 17 7/8" D. Circa 1825.
PROVENANCE: Deaccessioned from the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art.
CONDITION: Overall good condition. Wear and condition commensurate with age and use including areas of scratches and surface abrasion, shrinkage cracks, veneer and repairs throughout.
