Large Mexican Folk Art dance mask, Tiger form. Natural boar hair, tusks, and rawhide tongue used in the Dance of the Tecuanes. Paint losses throughout, especially back/side of mask, separations and wear. 27" H X 19" W X 15" D. 1st half of 20th century. Deaccessioned by Knoxville Museum of Art to benefit the acquisitions fund.
