Six (6) Chinese Export polychrome and parcel-gilt porcelain armorial table service items, all having a central coat-of-arms with a script monogram "AB" surmounted by a bird holding a feather in its mouth atop a scrolled banner. Spearhead interior border, with floral sprays to the octagonal rims. Includes: one (1) large serving platter, one (1) small serving platter, and four (4) soup plates or low bowls, ranging in size from 1 1/2" H x 8 3/4" W to 1 1/4" H x 13 3/4" W. All items mid to late 18th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville, Tennessee estate.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with scattered firing flaws, fleabites, largest 1/4" to rims. Two bowls with flaking, areas of loss to old restoration glaze. Three bowls with hairlines, including one spanning the width of bowl.
