Four (4) ceramic roof tile figures (9 pcs with stands) or Temple Gods. Includes a warrior figure on horseback and three other standing figures, all in brightly polychromed traditional clothing. Includes later hardwood stands for display mounting. All figures approximately 12"H. Chinese or Taiwanese, late 19th to early 20th century. CONDITION: All figures with scattered firing flaws, crazing, repaired breaks, wear to gilding and paint, and losses. Ends of horse's rear feet broken and reglued, rider's hands and one foot broken and reglued, losses to end of rider's robe, saddle and part of headdress. Figure with yellow pants leg broken and repaired. Two figures missing hand/fingers, another missing earring.
