1st item: Chinese Famille Verte vase, now mounted as a lamp. Hexagonal form with painted landscape panels alternating with pierced lattice panels and figural foo dog handles. Mounted onto a black stone base and wired for lighting. Vase 13" H. 28 1/4" Overall H. 20th century. 2nd item: Chinese Claire de Lune bottle form vase with elephant head handles, now mounted as a lamp, with pewter double socket mount and carved hardwood base, wired for lighting. Vase 10 3/4" H. 22" H overall.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Edith (Edie) M. Bass, Nashville, Tennessee. Most of the items from her estate in this auction were by descent from her parents, Walter Paul McBride and Claire Childs of Lake Forest, Illinois.
CONDITION: 1st item: Vase overall good condition, minor wear to base. Lamp functioning at time of inspection. 2nd item: Overall good condition, break to trunk of one elephant. Lamp functioning at time of inspection.
