Three Meissen porcelain figurines. 1st item: figure of a boy carrying a hat full of grapes, partially kneeling on a tree stump. Blue underglaze crossed swords mark with impressed signature F– and impressed letters 47 and painted letters 64 or 79. 5"H. German, 19th century. 2nd item: figure of a boy in Chinese style dressing coat and hat, his arms extended. Blue underglaze crossed swords mark with impressed numbers 35 and letters "ga" with painted number 63. 4-5/8". German, 19th century. 3rd item: Figure of a shepherd, sitting on a rock and holding bagpipes, with dog at his feet, 3-1/2"H. No apparent mark. 2002 Sales receipt from James M. Labaugh attributes it to Meissen, circa 1750 and notes the pipe end and two leaves are repaired. Provenance: the collection of Stephen and Lisa Steiner Small, Nashville, Tennessee, purchased from James Labaugh, New York. Condition: 1st item: black light reveals restoration to rear foot, raised pinky finger, a couple of grape stems, and miniscule area on cheek. Unrestored small flake to index finger. 2nd item: Excellent condition with no apparent restorations. 3rd item: Pipe end and 2 leaves restored.
