Sino-Tibetan parcel gilt bronze figure of a deity or guardian, elaborately detailed with snakes around his neck and a turquoise-studded crown, possibly one of the guards of King Dharmapala Pehar; depicted wearing a hat and riding a lion, atop an integral oval lotus base; copper bottom with stamped mark on underside. 7 1/4"H. 20th century. CONDITION: Some minor scattered oxidation, one turquoise stone missing. Overall good condition.
