Confederate Columbus, Georgia Made Naval Cutlass. Wooden grip with iron mounts and "S" type guard, double-edged blade with raised center. Blade length – 18". Overall length – 23 1/2". Provenance: Estate of Jim Maconkey, Landrum, SC. Note: See "Confederate Arms" by Edward N. Simmons and William A. Albaugh III, 1957, page 120. CONDITION: Overall good condition with wear to be expected from age and manner of use. Iron mounts slightly loose.
