Large Chinese Export Rose Medallion porcelain punch bowl, the body decorated with alternating enameled figural and floral vignettes, including one figure depicted in a wheelchair to the interior. Rim with bird on branch cartouche vignettes on a ground decorated with pomegranates, butterflies, and roses, with gilt highlights throughout. 6" H x 14 1/2" dia. 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of David Caldwell, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall good condition. A few small glaze pops. Losses to enamel decoration to the center interior of bowl, wear and scattered touch up to gilding on rim edge.
