Benjamin Franklin Perkins (Alabama, 1904-1993) folk art painted fiberglass suitcase, featuring Statue of Liberty and flag motifs, titled to sides and signed and dated 4-10-90 to lower right edge (each side). 17 1/2" H x 23" W x 6" D.
PROVENANCE: The collection of Ronnie Steine, Nashville, by descent from his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Steine.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with scattered grime and abrasions, a couple of small paint flakes up to 3/4" long.
