1st item: Chinese red lacquer hardwood floor cabinet, comprised of display shelves, storage with sliding and hinged doors and two lower drawers, case having carved fretwork, the doors having applied bone, mother of pearl, and ivory inlay designs of birds amongst foliage decoration. 44 1/2" H x 29" W x 9 3/4" D. Late 19th century. 2nd item: Chinese plant stand with inset pink marble to the square top, carved sides and fretwork apron, medial shelf and carved legs terminating into claw clutching pearl feet. 31 3/4" H x 13" square. Late 19th century. 3rd item: Oval tole tray with Chinoiserie gilt and paint decoration. 17 1/4" x 21 1/2". Late 19th/Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Carolyn Mulder, Knoxville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: 1st item: Overall general wear with some scattered losses to paint and inlay decoration. Some sliding doors detached but present. 2nd item: Overall general wear, some looseness to leg joints. 3rd item: Original lacquer varnish worn with several losses to design, wear and scattered losses.
