Unsigned. Fine Art Studios, 12 Duke Street, Cardiff paper label en verso. Housed in a molded gilt wood frame. Sight – 5 5/8" H x 8 5/8" W. Framed – 11 1/2" H x 14 5/8" W. 2nd item: Burt L. Roys (American, 1858-1938) watercolor and gouache on paper landscape painting depicting a rustic farmhouse surrounded by trees beside a country road, foreground, a pond and a hillside, middle ground, and another house and a mountain range below a cloudy blue sky in the background. Signed "B.L. Roys." lower right. Housed and matted under glass in a gilt wood frame. 3rd item: American or English School oil on board still life painting depicting a group of red and yellow flowers with a fern against a black background. Unsigned. Housed in a gilt wood frame. Sight – 8 1/4" H x 5 3/8" W. Framed – 12" H x 9 1/8" W. Provenance: The Estate of Ellen Johnson, Crossville, TN. CONDITION: 1st item: Overall good condition with scattered areas of minute paint loss, foxing spots. Areas of loss to frame. 2nd item: Overall good condition with toning/acid burn. Not examined outside of frame. Ages cracks, areas of loss to frame. 3rd item: Overall good condition with craquelure. Board slightly loose in frame. Areas of loss, scratches to gilt on frame.
