Cochiti Pueblo Drum, Pueblo pottery, and Native American stones. 1st item – Cochiti Pueblo Drum polychrome painted drum with yellow and orange triangle band bordered with blue lines, red/brown painted hide on ends and green painted hide extending around the drum. 12 1/4" x 10" x 6 5/8" height. Late 19th/Early 20th century. 2nd and 3rd items – Pueblo pottery items including a pair of painted moccasins and a small pottery saucer with red and brown paint decoration. Length of shoes and diameter of saucer: 3 3/4". Early 20th century. 4th-6th item – two small circular grinding disks and one small stone with carved out hole. Approx. 1 1/4"-1 1/2" length. Provenance: Descendants of the estate of Madge Hardin Walters, early 20th century collector and dealer of Native American and author of Early Days and Indian Ways, Westernlore Press, 1956. Condition: 1st item – overall very good condition. One old chip to drum side. 2nd item – shoes have been broken and glued. Saucer with wear to paint, commensurate for age. 3rd – very good condition.
