Grouping of Plains Indian pouches and child moccasins. 1st item – Beaded retangular pouch with arrow border and interior geometric designs on both sides, beaded bottom fringe, beaded carrying strap. 10 1/4" length from top of strap to bottom of fringe, 4 1/8" width. Early 20th century. 2nd item – Beaded circular purse consisting of circular bulls eye patterns on both sides (possibly for a pocket watch), leather ties. 3 1/2" length. Late 19th/Early 20th century. 3rd item – Beaded Plains Indian child moccasins with blue, red, and white geometric designs. 6 1/2" length. Late 19th/Early 20th century. Provenance – Descendants of the estate of Madge Hardin Walters, early 20th century collector and dealer of Native American and author of Early Days and Indian Ways, Westernlore Press, 1956. Condition: 1st item – Overall excellent condition. 2nd item – Overall excellent condition. 3rd item – leather is rigid/dried out. All beads appear intact.
