Rare set of twelve American coin silver knives in the Classical / Gothic Revival style, the flat handles with engine turned design accented with a trefoil cartouche (all engraved with monogram LSA), the tips with chased anthemion design, the blades engraved with a foliate scroll decoration at the terminus and bright-cut design along outer edge. Blades marked T.C. Garrett (Thomas C. Garrett, active Philadelphia, circa 1829-1850) and monogrammed "L.A. to ". Also included is one fork in the same pattern. Knives 8-1/4"L, Fork 7-1/2"L. 18.96 oz troy combined weight. Provenance: Blount County, TN Living Estate. Condition: Very good condition with some light scratching to blades.
