Coin silver teapot, the lobed body adorned with repousse architectural motifs depicting various buildings, along with floral decoration; hinged lid with figural flower and leaf finial, c-scroll handle with naturalistic grapevine motifs and spout with acanthus leaf and flowering vine decoration, all on four scroll and shell feet. Impressed marks with serrated edges "W. Adams" and "New-York" on base (William L. Adams working 1831-1850). Script monogram. 31.71 oz troy. 8 1/2" H. 2nd quarter of the 19th century. Condition: Very good condition. Script monogram in center cartouche.
