Rococo Revival Tea Kettle on stand, both test as coin silver. The teapot of octagonal form with elaborate chased floral repousse cartouche decoration to each side, serpentine handle with ivory ferrules, lid with rose finial, and four feet. Underside marked Warrin & Co 341 B Way N.Y. J.C.M. 5. Old English style monogram, EK or ER. Burner with matching maker's markings. Conforming octagonal stand with pierced leaf design and four cabriole legs ending in shell feet, joined by floral garlands, unmarked. Overall height including handle: 15". 48.73 oz troy kettle, 74.13 oz total weight (note some burner elements may not be all silver, it was not weighed). Provenance: A Nashville, Tennessee collection. Condition: Central portion of handle is loose, ferrules are cracked, some small dents to burner, otherwise very good condition.
