1st item: Chinese silk embroidered piano shawl, cream ground with dark pink longevity symbol to center, brightly colored floral decoration and peacocks to each corner, with crocheted border and long fringe. 70" H x 72" W. Early 20th century. 2nd item: Chinese embroidered silk panel, possibly rank badge, with central dragon and bat decoration. 18 1/2" H x 29 1/2" W. Early 20th century. Provenance: William Zarnon Estate, Gatlinburg, TN. CONDITION: 1st item: Overall good condition, scattered loose threads and stains. 2nd item: Scattered losses, fading and stains. Front panel detached from backing along the top edge.
