Attributed to Charles Leslie (British, 1835-1890), oil on canvas painting of an expansive landscape, featuring two figures on a bank as they observe cattle wading in a body of water, with mountains in the background. Unsigned. "Char Leslie" written in pencil to top of stretcher en verso. Label to stretcher en verso reads "Iorwerth J. Walters Collection". Sight – 11 3/4" H x 23 1/2" W. Frame – 17" H x 29" W. English, third quarter of the 19th century. CONDITION: Canvas relined. Craquelure throughout. Stretcher creases to sides and top margin.
