1st item: Continental stained fruitwood 3-section mantle mirror with gilt highlights. Ends with tendoned construction and decorated with applied gilt gesso acanthus leaf scrolls. Center mirror panel with slight bevel and outside mirrors are flat, all with some exfoliation. Mirror frame – 21" H x 42 1/4" W. Overall – 27 1/4" H x 47" W x 1 3/4" D. Early 19th century. 2nd item: George III style giltwood convex mirror comprising late 18th/early 19th century foliate carvings added to newer mirror frame, carved eagle and candle holders. Overall – 37" H x 27" W x 10 1/2" D. Late 19th/early 20th century. Provenance: Estate of Bill Zarnon, Gatlinburg, Tenn. Condition: 1st item: Overall good condition with some exfoliation to mirror and repairs to leaf scrolls. 2nd item: Frame with newer gilding.
