Minnie Adkins and Garland Adkins (Kentucky, 20th century) wood folk art carving of a bowing horse. Signed "G & M Adkins" and dated 1997 in pen to underside of belly. Also signed with C in circle to underside of front hoof. 11" H x 23" W x 3" D.
PROVENANCE: The collection of Ronnie Steine, Nashville, by descent from his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Steine; acquired directly from the artist.
CONDITION: Overall excellent condition. Seam on tail appears to be in the making and not a repair. Errant 1/4" pen mark to neck.
