Victorian photographic album, leatherbound with gilt stenciled cover. Includes over a dozen Civil War era CDVs of civilians and one of "Col. Joe Webbs NC" in uniform (Note: A Col. Joe Webbs served in the NC 27th Infantry). Most are from or connected to the Wemyss family of Mobile, Ala. History. Provenance: the estate of Margaret Wemyss Connor, Nashville, Tennessee. Condition: Some wear and cracking to spine on exterior of album, cover coming loose. Most CDVS exhibit handling grime, pencil writing on pages and/or backs. Some CDVs with stains or discloration, overall average condition.
