1st item: Chinese gilt bronze lidded censer or incense burner, the body decorated with dragons chasing the flaming pearl and bird in flowering branch in relief, rasied elephant head handles, and three elephant mask feet. Lid having dome top with pierced floral decoration, and a recumbant elephant finial. Seal mark to the base underside. 21 1/4" H x 19 1/2" W. 2nd item: Southeast Asian gilt bronze figure depicting the Buddha with right hand raised and left hand facing upward in a meditative pose, seated atop a lotus form pedestal base with incised shou seal decoration to the robe. Old "Made in Nepal" on back of lower base. 15" H x 10" W. Both items 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Margaret Harold Roberts, Lookout Mountain, Georgia.
CONDITION: Both bronzes with overall general expected wear. Buddha bronze with minor wear and losses along the base edge.
