Minnie and Garland Adkins (Kentucky, 20th century) large folk art carved and painted wood possum with 3 babies, the mother signed G&M Adkins in marker to underside of one paw and dated 1995; 2 of the babies signed M. Adkins under tails. Large Possum: 11 3/8"H x 42" L.
PROVENANCE: The collection of Ronnie Steine, Nashville, by descent from his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Steine; acquired directly from the artist.
CONDITION: Losses to the tips of 7 toes on large possum, otherwise very good condition.
