Grouping of four (4) folk art carvings. 1st item – A polychrome painted bust of a bald gentleman with red lips and black eyebrows, expressive puckered cheeks, resting on a circular base. Unsigned. 9" H. Late 19th/early 20th century. 2nd item – Carved gopher sitting upright on a base. Unsigned. 5-3/8" H. Early 20th century. 3rd item – Carved pipe bowl in the form of a man's head. Burl wood, stamped on side, "Canadian Mountie Imported Briar". 3-1/8" L. Early 20th century. Rests on a contemporary oval base. 4th item – Carved cylindrical totem with a man's head at the end. Hanging hook on backside. 5-1/4" length. Early 20th century. Condition: All in very good condition with the pipe bowl having a couple of small chips near stem, totem carving has three equally spaced nail holes on shaft indicating object had an additional attachment.
