Chinese Famille Rose porcelain table screen, comprised of a hardwood framed porcelain plaque with polychrome decoration depicting an emperor in the center holding a rui sceptre surronded by three figures, including the immortal Zhongli Quan, another immortal holding a scroll, and a female holding a circular fan, with a red bat to the lower left margin. Plaque is mounted onto a carved, pierced, and footed hardwood stand with rotating ball decoration. Plaque: 17" H x 12" W. Overall: 23 1/2" H x 13 1/2" W. Late 19th/Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Chattanooga, TN collection.
CONDITION: Overall good condition. Some light craquelure to polychrome decoration. Some losses to glaze of emperor's badge and to one yellow lower section of robe.
