Lot of Victorian hairwork mourning jewelry in the form of crosses. Consists of two woven cruciform hair brooches with gold tips and clasps and a pair of woven cruciform earrings with gold tips and hooks. 2 1/4" brooch engraved MEL and HLS, 1 3/4" brooch engraved Nellie. Earrings (1 1/4") engraved "Helen". Small area of fraying and tiny tear to gold tip on one earring, otherwise all pieces in excellent condition. Gold not tested. Circa 1880.
