A collection of 11 Chinese snuff bottles and 1 carved hardwood dragon. Includes a blown and molded glass bottle with polychrome fish decoration; Peking Glass bottle with raised blue shou design; 3 glass bottles with reverse painted landscape and floral designs; 2 red cinnabar lacquer bottles, 1 decorated with birds, the other with figures; 1 carved hardstone bottle, possibly jade, with raised floral design; 1 polished horn bottle with white metal mounts and red coral and turquoise jewels; 1 four-part hinged bottle set with champleve enamel decoration; and 1 amber colored snuff bottle with carved figural scene on one side and calligraphy inscription on the other. Sizes range from 1 1/2" H to 3" H. Also included is a finely carved hardwood dragon figure, 5 1/4" L. 20th century. CONDITION: Stopper for horn bottle has broken off inside the neck. Some stoppers do not fit well. Oxidation to four-part bottle. Otherwise generally very good condition.
