Northwest Persian area rug, wool on wool, central blue field with overall floral medallion designs, within three primary foliate borders. Woven in blue, red, salmon, gold, green, and cream colors. 5ft 4in x 3ft 6in. Circa 1920's.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with mostly even pie wear, one approx. 2" area of pile loss to upper left quadrant, top margin fitted with denim hangers en verso.
