Chinese carved green fluorite rectangular vase form lamp with pierced, foliate brass mounts at neck and base, the neck of the vase with side handles in the form of mirrored elephant heads, foliate and bird carved decoration to body, and a geometrically incised foot, raised on a fitted hardwood stand of pierced branchlike form. Carved jade disc finial and pulls. Wired with internal bulb located within the vase. 24 1/8" H x 6" W x 4 1/2" D. 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Williamson County, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with scattered wear and discoloration to crystal; natural fissures to crystal. Fluorite body and hardwood stand have been drilled to accommodate brass mounting. Scattered denting to brass mounting; minute tear to brass measuring 1/4" L. Minor oxidation to beaded pulls. Lamp functions at time of inspection.
