Gorham Lyric sterling silver flatware, 40 pieces: 7 dinner knives, 6 dinner forks, 6 salad forks, 7 teaspoons, 6 soup spoons, 6 butter spreaders, 2 serving spoons, 38.95 oz troy weighable sterling, 8-7/8" to 5-3/4" L. Circa 1940. Provenance: Descended in the family of James Madison Hartley (b. 1850-d. 1920; mayor of Kingston, TN, early 1900s; State Rep. 1907-1909). Condition: Overall good condition with some surface wear and small dents due to age. Some bends in handles of spoons.
