3 Pieces of Continental Silver, Hanau, Germany. 1st and 2nd items: a pair of miniature silver urns, classical form with flared trumpet style chased rims and footed bases, scrolled arms at sides terminating in rooster or phoenix heads, with central bands of repousse decoration including Bacchus masks. Marked on bases "830" with maker's mark attributed to Simon Rosenau (1839-1920, started work in Kissengen, 1862). 6-7/8"H. 3rd item: Silver caster or muffineer in the French Rococo style, marks attributed to Georg Roth & Co. (1891-1919). 8-1/3"H. 20.655 total troy ounces. Provenance: both from a private Middle Tennessee collection; urns purchased from the estate of Frances Preston (former president, BMI Records) of Nashville.
