Burmese sterling silver repousse and chased offering or alms bowl. The sides with a continuous scene of twenty (20) high-relief figures from Burmese mythology. The rim has engraved scrolling foliate decoration with a band of shell relief decoration to the lower base edge. Underside with engraved royal “Peacock” hallmark together with a rubbed cartouche mark. Bowl XRF tests sterling silver. 6″H x 9 1/2″ dia. 35.795 troy ounces. Late 19th/Early 20th century.
