Four (4) English mocha ware items including: one (1) bowl having earthworm decoration on a yellow ground, with green latticed border at the rim, one (1) bowl with black seaweed decoration on a rust or dark orange ground, one (1) cream pitcher having earthworm decoration on a brown ground with green border at the rim, and one (1) mug having earthworm decoration on a brown bordered by blue ground. Ranging is size from 2 3/4" H x 6 3/4" dia. to 4 1/4" H. 19th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Illinois Collection.
CONDITION: Yellow ground bowl with restoration visible under UV inspection. Seaweed bowl with several spider cracks emanating from the rim. Pitcher with fleabite to spout, spidering to base. Mug with scattered glaze exfoliation to rim, fleabites to base, hairline emanating from rim, some staining.
