Whale oil lamp with colorless thumbprint font, baluster column and marble base, 13"H. White bisque lithopane shade has five panels, each depicting mostly landscape scenes in relief, enclosed in a decorative pierced metal frame. One panel is signed "Lausanne." 9-1/2"diam., 6-1/2"H. Both 19th century. Condition: Lamp has been electrified and has some small chips to marble base. Shade has some light oxidation and small bent elements on metal frame; panels in excellent condition.
